About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Reception

• Welcome visitors, clients and suppliers in a professional and friendly manner
• Manage the company switchboard and direct calls efficiently
• Take accurate messages and ensure prompt communication
• Coordinate visitor access and reception procedures
• Receive and distribute courier deliveries and mail
• Maintain a tidy, welcoming and professional reception area
• Prepare meeting rooms for visitors and client meetings
• Ensure visitors receive a positive and professional experience at all times

Office & Administrative Support

• Order and maintain stationery and office supplies
• Coordinate meeting room bookings, refreshments and meeting packs
• Arrange local and international business travel
• Assist with petty cash administration
• Provide general office administrative support
• Assist with onboarding administration for new employees
• Support HR administration, employee engagement initiatives and company events

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Reception or Office Administration qualification advantageous
• Valid driver's licence
• 3-5 years' experience as a Receptionist within a professional corporate environment
• Previous office administration experience advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• SharePoint experience will be advantageous
