Our client, a well-established automotive wholesaler with a strong national footprint, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist & Cashier to join their Diep River branch. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys frontline interaction, handles cash with accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:
What You’ll Do

• Welcome customers, manage front-desk enquiries, and ensure a professional first point of contact
• Operate the ERP and POS systems to process transactions accurately
• Receive and manage cash/card payments, issue receipts, and follow strict cash-handling protocols
• Balance cash at the start and end of day, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain secure financial records
• Manage incoming calls, direct queries, and provide general customer assistance
• Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception area
• Conduct weekly stationery stock checks, place orders, and maintain supply levels
• Provide general administrative support and assist with ad-hoc tasks as required by management

• Matric (essential)
• Previous experience as a Receptionist, Cashier, or in a similar frontline role
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP/point-of-sale systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Professional, well-presented, and punctual
• High level of confidentiality and adherence to company procedures
