Duties / Requirements
- Primary job is receptionist: this requires good telephone manner and a good command of the English and Afrikaans language.
- Responsible for daily inward and outward tracking and updates on Container World computer system.
- Checking and coding of creditors invoices.
- Receive general office mail and process the mail accordingly.
- Able to email, create and maintain office scheduling, work on spreadsheets to assist in the administration of the branch.
- Process the re-allocation of costs for containers cabotaged/moved to other branches across Southern Africa.
- Be able to prepare the required reports as requested by the branch staff.
- Assist with filing and general clerical work.
- Maintain staff confidentiality.
- Liaise with branch representatives on an ongoing basis.
- Credit applications – capturing new accounts.
- Check CWD storage and handling costs
- CIR coding and capturing
