SUMMARY:

Purpose Of The Job:

Our client requires a passenger vehicle dealership in the East of Johannesburg, requires Qualified Passenger Vehicle Technician with Haval experience to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for high-quality diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of vehicles in accordance with OEM standards and dealership guidelines.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
Perform vehicle services, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
Conduct fault-finding and root-cause analysis using diagnostic equipment
Provide clear and accurate feedback on work completed and required
Ensure all workshop procedures and safety protocols are adhered to
Maintain productivity and efficiency KPIs set by the workshop manager
Conduct quality checks to ensure all repairs meet customer and OEM expectations
Complete job cards, warranty claims, and documentation with accuracy
Support workshop team and contribute to a high-performance culture

Requirements / Qualifications:

Trade Test Certificate – Qualified Petrol/Diesel Technician
Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership environment
Must have Haval brand experience
Valid South African driver’s license (Code 8 or higher)
Familiar with modern diagnostic equipment and OEM repair systems
Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
Customer-focused mindset with commitment to quality
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Team player with a proactive work ethic
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols
Motor Industry experience Essential!!
