SUMMARY:
Are you an exceptional communicator with a knack for building relationships and a sharp eye for detail? An established law firm, specializing in property and conveyancing, is seeking a strong Client Liaison Officer who can act effectively as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the transfer process

POSITION INFO:
The ideal candidate will be professional, well-spoken, and service-oriented, with a solid understanding of conveyancing procedures and client communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the key contact for sellers, purchasers, estate agents, and financial institutions
Keep clients updated on the progress of their property transfers from instruction to registration
Manage incoming client queries and follow up on outstanding documentation
Liaise with internal conveyancing staff to obtain file updates and ensure timelines are met
Prepare and send regular progress reports to clients and agents
Schedule client consultations, signing appointments, and courier document collections when needed
Maintain professional, courteous, and accurate communication with all stakeholders
Support marketing and client relationship initiatives, where required

Minimum Requirements

Matric and a minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a conveyancing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages an advantage)
Familiarity with the property transfer process, including timelines and documentation
Strong interpersonal skills and a client-service mindset
Ability to remain calm under pressure and professionally handle client concerns
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and conveyancing software (e.g. Lexis Convey or GhostConvey)

Preferred

Experience dealing with estate agents and banks
Background in property law or legal administration
