JOB DESCRIPTION:

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced and suitable qualified Supervisor to
join the Wheel and Tyre Assembly team based in Durban.

Purpose of the job:

To provide ongoing support to Customers by supervising Wheel and Tyre Operation, maintain good
customer relations and provide quality and ensure safe working environment.

Experiential and Educational requirements:

• Minimum of Matric / Grade 12
• 3 to 5 years warehouse related experience
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Safety and ISO
• SAP knowledge and ability to use the system
• Quality management
• Stock Management and control
• Computer literacy
• Forklift licence (an advantage)
• People Management Skills

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct morning meetings, allocate team and report daily
• Manage daily operations and functions of the Wheel and Tyre team
• Conduct reject control daily
• Maintain stock holding accuracy, including FIFO control
• Manage the budget daily to ensure costs are maintained at all times
• Investigate defective parts and report on findings
• Always ensure adherence to all standard operational procedure (SOP) to ensure quality and Safety
• Willing to work overtime from time-to-time to support customer demand and ensure continuous
customer satisfaction
• To ensure house keeping is done on daily basis
• Submit kaizens and near misses to ensure continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
• Report any defects or irregularities to ensure safety and quality is always uphold
