EMBROIDERY SUPERVISOR (CLOTHING INDUSTRY)
POSITION INFO:
RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced EMBROIDERY SUPERVISOR (CLOTHING INDUSTRY) for a well-established concern, position based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
!PERSON MUST PREFERABLY BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY!
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Relevant qualification/s an added advantage but not essential.
Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
English speaking (must be able to read, write and speak fluently).
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Knowledge with Wilcom software an added advantage, as will experience in computer software for digitizing and modifying existing DST and EMB files.
Previous working experience in a similar position is essential.
5yrs+ previous experience in a supervisory role in an embroidery business.
Highly organized self-starter, proficient in the use of ZSK Embroidery machines.
Previous working experience in running, operating, and troubleshooting embroidery machines (ZSK equipment knowledge preferred but experience Tajima, etc will also be considered.
Single and multi-head machine supervision experience.
Person must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Ability to work flexible hours and / or shift work.
Strong staff management skills.
Person must be physically fit and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Tracking and reporting daily production.
Monitor and prioritize workflow of production to meet deadlines, maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Supervision of all embroidery operations in the factory.
