SUMMARY:

A multinational automotive manufacturer has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced and qualified Supervisor to join their team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of support to customers by supervising operations and maintaining good customer relations, providing quality, and ensuring a safe working environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Conduct morning meetings, allocate team and report daily

-Manage daily operations and functions of the Wheel and Tyre team

-Conduct reject control daily

-Maintain stock holding accuracy, including FIFO control

-Manage the budget daily to ensure costs are always maintained

-Investigate defective parts and report on findings

- Always ensure adherence to all standard operational procedure (SOP) to ensure quality and Safety

-Willing to work overtime from time-to-time to support customer demand and ensure continuous customer satisfaction

-To ensure housekeeping is done on daily basis

-Submit kaizens and near misses to ensure continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

-Report any defects or irregularities to ensure safety and quality is always uphold
