POSITION INFO:

Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Qualification Requirements

NQF Level 7 qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Commerce, or related field.
Minimum 7 years' experience in procurement and supply chain processes.
Demonstrated experience managing public sector tenders and contract administration.

Key Skills

Strategic sourcing.
Tender management.
Supplier management.
Contract negotiation.
Supply chain governance.
PFMA and Treasury regulatory compliance.
Procurement risk management.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle activities.
Prepare and evaluate tenders, RFQs, and RFPs.
Ensure compliance with National Treasury procurement regulations.
Conduct vendor due diligence and supplier assessments.
Negotiate contracts and service level agreements.
Manage procurement reporting and governance requirements.
Support audit and compliance activities.

Preferred Certifications

CIPS Level 5 or Level 6 Professional Diploma
Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS)
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Public Sector Supply Chain Management Certification

Contract Management Certification
