Our client specializes in the broad distribution of technology components with a strong focus on connectivity is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Processing Clerk / Junior Bookkeeper. Are you looking to grow your finance career?

This is a fantastic opportunity to support a growing business by ensuring accurate financial transaction processing, reconciliations, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Capture and process supplier invoices and customer transactions.
• Timeous and correct allocation of payments and receipts.
• Monthly reconciliation of supplier and customer accounts.

2. Debtors Follow-Up & Administration

• Monitor outstanding debtors and follow up on payments.
• Maintain communication logs and update AR status reports.

3. Financial Data Entry

• Accurate financial data entry into accounting and admin systems.
• Flag and resolve discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.

4. Reconciliations & Record Keeping

• Assist with bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations.
• Maintain organised documentation to support audits and internal controls.

5. General Finance Support

• Assist the finance team with filing, scanning, ad hoc reporting, and month-end processes.

? Qualifications & Experience:

• A formal qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or a related field (advantageous).
• 1+ year experience in finance processing, junior bookkeeping, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. (Pivot tables, Macros)
