SUMMARY:
We’re looking for an experienced and detail-driven Payroll Administrator to manage and run a full-function payroll for a large, diverse workforce. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong grasp of South African payroll legislation, this is the role for you!

POSITION INFO:

End-to-end processing of fortnightly wages and monthly salaries for approximately 260 employees
Handle payroll-related queries and ensure accurate employee records
Prepare and submit statutory returns, including EMP501s, PAYE, UIF, and SDL
Maintain and reconcile payroll general ledger accounts
Ensure full compliance with SARS and labour legislation
Generate reports for management and support audits when required

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years’ payroll experience in a similar role
Solid understanding of SARS regulations and EMP501 submissions
Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., Sage VIP, Pastel, or similar)
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Confidentiality, accuracy, and ability to meet tight deadlines are essential

Qualification:
Any tertiary qualification
