The Role: Online Sales Executive The purpose of this role is to drive online sales performance and manage all related administrative tasks to contribute to the growth of online retail operations. The executive oversees the entire sales process, from order processing and managing product listings to providing expert advice to customers. This is an in-person position based at the head office, requiring a diligent professional to ensure a cohesive online customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 5 years of experience in online sales with a track record of exceeding objectives.

• Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to boost online revenue.

• Oversee administrative tasks including order processing, inquiries, and after-sales service.

• Manage product listings, pricing, promotional activities, and inventory for the online store.

• Provide superior customer service and expert advice to ensure satisfaction.

• Monitor and analyze online sales metrics to identify growth opportunities.

• Participate in annual stock take and manage online inventory levels.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.

About You

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in online sales with a track record of exceeding objectives.

• Extensive experience in e-commerce platforms and online retail environments.

• Matric certificate is required.

• Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans with exceptional communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to commute reliably to Somerset West for full-time, in-person work.

• Tertiary degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

• Background in categories like optics, hunting, or outdoor gear is highly advantageous.

• A keen interest in outdoor activities such as camping and hunting.
