Looking for a professional and highly organised Office Administrator to support a busy anaesthetics practice in Blaauwberg

The role requires managing multiple administrative priorities with accuracy, discretion, and efficiency in a fast-paced medical environment.

The successful candidate will contribute to a well-structured, efficient, and professional practice environment, supporting multiple doctors while ensuring smooth administrative coordination and maintaining strong working relationships

Previous experience in a medical practice preferred
Exposure to theatre, anaesthetics, or specialist environments advantageous
Strong administrators with transferable skills will be considered
Practice Administration and Scheduling
Patient Administration and Quotations
Billing and Financial Administration Support
Associate Administrative Support and Compliance
Hospital and Stakeholder Liaison
Office Administration and Documentation Management
Meetings and Practice Communication
Information Management and Reporting
General Administrative Duties

Minimum Requirements

Strong administrative experience (medical environment preferred)
Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills and professional telephone manner
Computer literate (MS Office); experience with digital systems / Google Calendar advantageous
Ability to work in a structured, paperless environment
Professional, dependable, and well-presented
High level of discretion and confidentiality
Emotionally mature, calm under pressure, and able to use sound judgement
Able to take initiative and work independently while contributing to a team
Assertive yet approachable, with a positive and solution-driven attitude
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Driver’s license and own transport
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with doctors, hospitals, and stakeholders
