SUMMARY:
We are seeking an office-based quantity surveyor. Core tasks will include working closely with the chairman doing cost planning, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender evaluation and progress reporting. They will require strong technical software proficiency and attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements:

Tertiary education (Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering).
3 - 5+ years depending on the seniority required.
Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel) and specialized measurement software (e.g., WinQS).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.

Key Office-Based Responsibilities

Cost Planning & Estimating: Preparing initial budgets and detailed cost estimates.
Tender & Contract Documentation: Preparing tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and contractual arrangements.
Procurement & Tender Evaluation: Evaluating contractor bids and negotiating contracts.
Documentation: Reviewing contract documents and managing variation claims.
Cost Management: Preparing, reviewing, and managing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tenders.
Estimation: Calculating costs, preparing, and submitting tender documents.
Administration: Assisting with contract administration, risk management, and financial reporting.
Support: Providing technical support to project teams and conducting accurate, updated pricing.
