SUMMARY:
The Lead Generator is responsible for identifying and qualifying potential business opportunities for the sales team within the office automation industry. The role focuses on generating new leads, making outbound calls, engaging with prospective clients, and arranging qualified appointments for sales consultants.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and research potential business clients and decision-makers
Generate new business leads through cold calling, email campaigns, online research, and other lead-generation activities
Contact prospective clients to introduce office automation products and services
Qualify leads based on their business needs, current solutions, budget, and potential requirements
Schedule qualified appointments and demonstrations for the sales team
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads and client interactions
Follow up on leads and prospects in a timely and professional manner
Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly lead-generation and appointment-setting targets
Keep up to date with office automation products, services, and industry trends
Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective clients
Use CRM systems to record calls, interactions, follow-ups, and lead progress
Provide regular feedback and reports on lead-generation activities and results

POSITION INFO:
Education and Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent
A qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field would be advantageous
Computer literate with experience using CRM systems

Experience:

Previous experience in a Lead Generation, Telesales, Cold Calling, or Sales role
Experience in the Office Automation industry would be highly advantageous
Previous experience working with B2B clients and decision-makers is beneficial
