Position Summary 

One of our esteemed clients, being a leader in the Business Solutions sector, is looking for an experienced Sales Executive. Products available to sell would include Scanners, Microfilm and Digitisers, Packaging, Medical Equipment and Consumables, Security Printing Services, Document Binding and Presentation Solutions and Technical Support. Located in Sandton, the Sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales in an assigned territory. The Sales Executive is responsible for proactively selling company products and solutions gaining new opportunities. sales opportunities includes both new and existing customers within the Education sector, Government, Healthcare, as well as Private and Corporate entities. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, the Sales Executive must be able to perform the following:

• Service customers by selling products and meeting customer needs through building a long standing relationship.
• Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales partners.
• Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature/brochures.
• The ability to problem solve and implement out of the box thinking to resolve customer needs and challenges
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans, and monthly territory analyses.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
• Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational training sessions, reviewing Tender publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional events.
• Maintaining records on area and customer sales.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Conducting various training session to partners to keep product relevant.
• Compiling quotations and proposals in a professional manner.
• Planning country trips strategically when needed.

Travel Demands: As and when required

Experience

3 to 5 years of outbound business development and / or sales experience

Computer/Technical Skills

Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Remuneration 

R16 000 – R20 000 CTC negotiable plus fuel, mobile allowance and commission from sale 1.
