Office Assistant

SUMMARY:
Assist this busy Retail Head Office with general Office Administration duties. The team needs your hands-on skillset to assist in ensuring that all deadlines and projects are met.

POSITION INFO:

An ideal opportunity for a skilled Office Assistant who enjoys working in a dynamic and busy Retail environment. You can think on your feet, enjoy a variety of tasks, also to be the go-to person in the office. This position is based in Woodstock, Cape Town. 

Requirements:

• Matric
• Relevant Diploma / Certificate advantage = BUT NOT necessary
• 5 years plus working experience within an Office Support role
• Highly organised
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Calm personality that can handle pressure and a variety of tasks

Duties:

• Managing administrative, clerical tasks, support
• General support to the office staff of 4.
• Manage office supplies, including monitoring inventory levels and placing orders
• Manage office operations
• Assist with data entry for sales, inventory and other reports
• Manage internal and external communications
• Coordinate schedules for staff, stores & management
• Maintain and organize physical and digital files
• Handling general correspondence with customers and vendors
• Assist with general store projects
• Help monitor store inventory levels and track shipments

Critical skillset will be:

• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Handle sensitive or confidential information with professionalism
• Support event planning and other special initiatives for the head office and retail stores
