Calling all seasoned Vehicle Sales Executives! Our client, a leading passenger ad commercial vehicle brand is on the hunt for TOP TALENT to join their sales team in Durban!

As a Sales Executive, your role will be to plan, implement, and manage all sales and promotional initiatives for the vehicle brand.  You will be responsible for achieving or surpassing vehicle sales targets while ensuring customers expectations are met.  The focus is on driving customer sales, ensuring profitability and maintaining strong relationships with customers for future retention.

Remuneration:
R 11 520 p.m. plus performance-based Incentive – Benefits including Provident Fund, Cell Phone Allowance

POSITION INFO:
Duties include

• Sell the maximum number of new cars & used cars
• Manage client relationships through effective use of the lead and data management system (CMS).
• Contribute to the planning and execution of sales strategies that drive dealership growth and profitability.
• Consistently achieve and exceed vehicle sales targets.
• Support the performance of Parts, Service, and F&I departments by aligning with dealership-wide goals.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to support a culture of service excellence.
• Strive to exceed customer expectations by ensuring timely delivery and high-quality service standards across all touchpoints.
• Monitor and track key CMS performance metrics, including:
  • Lead management
  • Online traffic platforms (OTPs)
  • Finance applications
  • Test drives and demo bookings
  • Deal closures and closing ratios
  • Lost deal analysis
  • Quality of deal files
  • Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) and other customer feedback indicators

• Must have min 5 years Automotive Car Sales experience at a franchise dealership – preferably, Suzuki, Haval, Chery, GWM, JAC, Mazda, Renault, Mahindra
• Solid understanding of both new and used vehicle sales, aftersales operations, and F&I offerings.
• Strong grasp of key financial drivers and performance metrics relevant to dealership operations.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of FICA, FAIS, POPIA, and the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
• Proficient in MS Office and dealership-related systems.
• Familiarity with CMS or similar Dealer Management Systems (DMS) is essential.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional local language will be an advantage.
• Must have a clear criminal and credit record, subject to standard verification checks.
• Resilience and the ability to work under pressure
• PC Literate
• Valid Drivers License
