Job Opportunity: Medical Administrator

We are seeking a professional and experienced Medical Administrator to join our busy medical practice in Rondebosch Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

Position Details

Title: Medical Administrator
Reports to: Director
Seniority Level: Mid-Career (4–6 years of experience)
Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Manage and process medical aid authorizations
Handle a variety of administrative functions within the practice
Provide support and service to patients, ensuring a positive experience
Contribute to the smooth running of the office through effective organization and communication

About You

Experience in a Medical Practice highly advantageous
Experience in dealing with Medical Aid Authorizations highly advantageous
Hold a National Certificate (or equivalent qualification)
Have 4–6 years’ experience in a similar administrative role
Demonstrate excellent computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Possess strong organizational and prioritization skills
Work systematically with attention to detail
Show initiative, maturity, and problem-solving ability
Communicate confidently with excellent interpersonal skills
