SUMMARY:
Datacentrix KwaZulu Natal  is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. Coordination and processing of Enterprise Resource planning transactions including Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Invoicing, Credit Notes, Stock adjustments and Transfers. Monthly Stock analysis and management of Outstanding Sales and Purchase Orders

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An important part of the role is strict enforcement of Company Policy. Engagement with Sales and Services Business Units on queries, reports, reconciliations and suggested corrective and preventative actions. Query resolutions and reconciliation to resolve. Weekly and monthly analytical, statistical and management reports.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required Qualification: Grade 12 
Minimum Qualification:  Grade 12
Relevant Experience: 1 – 2 years

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Logistics  
 
 - Procurement functions including but not limited to, stock analysis and variances, outstanding receipts, raising Pos and invoices to clients, GP transfers, outstanding sales and purchase orders, daily alerts, credit note analysis, exception transaction approvals, daily dashboard for exceptions.  Ensuring all transactions conform to policy and have the required approval
- Enforcing company policies and procedures, internally and externally, including non-conformances, supplier complaints, corrective and preventative actions. Ensuring non-conforming transactions are always rejected.  Resolving of queries (from Suppliers /Receiving /Creditors /Debtors and Dispatch) and escalating to Sales and management.
- Investigating and completing the Outstanding PO & SO report on a weekly basis.
- Ensuring all transactions are processed as required and within correct periods. Month end preparation and management according to cut-off times

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AREAS:
- Strong computer literacy skills – excel advance will be an advantage,
- Great Plains experience preferred but not essential
- Good written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to multitask
- Previous procurement experience or logistics coordinating experience preferred.
- Analytical, methodical and emphasis on attention detail
- Ability to work under pressure and without supervision and take ownership of assigned tasks and on time delivery
