Our client, a major operator of a franchisee company intended for leading brands, is on the hunt for a proactive IT Support Technician to join their team and provide first-line technical support to end-users. POSITION INFO:
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, or remote tools.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and application issues.
Assist with login problems, system access, and workstation setup.
Support business applications and escalate complex issues when needed.
Help with system updates, patches, and routine maintenance.
Provide friendly, customer-focused guidance and basic training to users.
Log support requests, document solutions, and keep inventory records up to date.
Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure smooth IT operations.
Contribute to IT projects and system rollouts.

Essential Requirements and Skills

Qualifications:

Matric (High School Certificate)
CompTIA A+, N+, or ITIL Foundation
Microsoft 365 & SharePoint knowledge
Azure exposure (advantageous but not essential)

Technical Skills:

Basic understanding of Windows OS and Microsoft 365
Familiarity with networks (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, IP basics)
Hardware troubleshooting and device setup
General knowledge of business applications
Experience with ticketing systems (preferred)

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and customer service abilities
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Ability to follow processes and work in a structured environment
Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt
