Junior Graphic Designer – Milnerton

You will work on developing original artwork, patterns, typography and mock-ups, turning creative concepts into beautifully finished, production-ready designs.
 
Experience on macOS is essential.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

• Matric certificate and a relevant Graphic Design qualification
• 1–3 years' experience in a junior graphic design role
• Experience working on a Mac computer is essential
• Solid understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, colour theory, layout and visual hierarchy
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with strong skills in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience using Canva and AI-powered design tools will be an advantage
• Experience designing for both digital and print platforms
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on visual accuracy and consistency
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and turn ideas into compelling visual designs
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and delivering quality work within tight deadlines
• Knowledge of brand guidelines and corporate identity principles will be advantageous

• Create eye-catching design concepts that align with creative briefs and brand standards
• Design marketing collateral for fashion, retail and promotional campaigns
• Ensure brand consistency across all digital and print communications
• Resize, adapt and update artwork for various platforms, formats and campaigns
• Prepare production-ready artwork for both print and digital use
• Edit and retouch images to achieve a polished final result
• Manage multiple design projects while meeting agreed timelines and priorities
• Stay informed about emerging design trends, AI tools and industry best practices
• Organise and maintain design files, templates and creative assets
• Implement feedback and revisions while preserving the quality and intent of the original design concept
