POSITION INFO:

Newly admitted candidates are welcome, provided full articles were completed within a conveyancing department. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in conveyancing and is comfortable managing deadlines, accuracy and a demanding workload.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

• Manage conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Prepare and review conveyancing documents accurately.
• Handle a high volume of files while keeping matters on track.
• Work closely with clients, banks, estate agents and other parties involved in transfers.
• Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding information or documents.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure files remain compliant and up to date.

Requirements

• Must be an admitted Attorney, or newly admitted.
• Full articles must have been completed within a conveyancing department.
• Strong understanding of conveyancing processes and documentation.
• Able to manage large volumes of work without losing accuracy.
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Highly meticulous and organised.

Education

• LLB degree.
• Admission as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
