Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Invoicing Clerk to join our team in Edenvale. The ideal candidate will have proven experience using Sage Evolution software and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer invoices, maintaining financial records, and assisting with other accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time using Sage Evolution.
Verify invoice details against purchase orders, sales orders, and other supporting documentation.
Maintain organized and up-to-date customer and invoice records within Sage Evolution.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies.
Liaise with customers and internal departments to address billing inquiries.
Assist with month-end closing procedures and preparation of financial reports.
Contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the accounting department.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Invoicing Clerk or in a similar accounting role.
Demonstrated proficiency in Sage Evolution software is essential.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
