Airfreight Imports Clerk

Our client in the Logistics Sector is seeking an Airfreight Imports Clerk, to join their team.

Location: Pretoria

Job type: On site

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive pre-alerts from handover agents.
• Review documents from hand over agents and resolve any queries
• Track shipments
• Arrange customs clearance
• Arrange delivery on forwarding shipments and ensure that releases are

obtained from airlines

• Obtain pod and charges form transporter on forwarding files
• Obtain airline handling fees from airlines.
• Invoice out the Customs Vat and Duty on files.
• Obtain clearing instruction signatures

Minimum Requirements

• Min 1 years working experience in imports environment.
• Excellent Excel skills
