SUMMARY:
Procurement Buyer & Internal Sales account controller responsible for end-to-end strategic sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing, while simultaneously driving revenue through internal sales support, client relationship management, and account expansion across the African continent.

Requirements

Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in procurement / buying / purchasing and sourcing
Experience working within a procurement / sourcing company is strongly preferred
Proven track record and hands-on experience navigating business practices, trade laws, and vendor networks within the African market

Duties

Source, evaluate, and negotiate competitive pricing and terms with regional and international suppliers.
Manage end-to-end purchasing workflows, from requisition to purchase order execution and delivery tracking.
Conduct supplier risk assessments and build strategic vendor partnerships across key African trade corridors.
Coordinate cross-border logistics, customs clearance documentation, and import/export compliance within African markets.
Serve as the primary internal contact for existing and prospective client inquiries, quotes, and order processing.
Prepare, review, and issue comprehensive commercial proposals, RFQ responses, and price estimates.
Cross-sell and up-sell complementary sourcing solutions to maximize revenue per account.
Maintain accuracy in CRM records, pipeline tracking, and sales forecasting.
