POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Matric or equivalent qualification
  - Minimum 2 years’experience as a Hotel Receptionist within a large hotel environment
  - Strong, hands-on OPERA PMS experience (essential)
  - Experience within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment
  - Computer literacy including OPERA PMS and Microsoft Office
  - Well-presented with a polished, professional approach
  - South African ID or valid work permit

• Welcome guests with warmth, confidence and professionalism
  - Deliver smooth, efficient check-ins and check-outs
  - Handle guest enquiries and requests with care and attention
  - Ensure every guest interaction reflects the hotel’s service standards

• Manage reservations, emails and telephone enquiries
  - Accurately capture guest details and process transactions on OPERA PMS
  - Ensure billing accuracy and follow all front office procedures
  - Maintain organisation and control during busy service periods

• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Porters and other departments
  - Complete clear and structured shift handovers
  - Support team members to ensure a seamless guest journey

• A confident and guest-focused Hotel Receptionist
  - Someone who is comfortable and efficient on OPERA PMS
  - Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach
  - High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
