We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected and well-established hospitality group for a Finance Clerk to join their Head Office team. This is not a role for someone who wants chaos or guesswork. This is for someone who thrives on order, accuracy, and accountability.

What You’ll Be Trusted With

Financial Processing & Administration

• Process daily receipts, payments, cashbook entries, and journal allocations
• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate any variances
• Capture and verify supplier invoices and credit notes
• Prepare and process supplier payments via online banking
• Perform monthly supplier reconciliations and resolve outstanding queries

Reporting & Month-End Support

• Assist with monthly management reports and supporting schedules
• Ensure accurate data capture in Pastel within strict deadlines
• Support across creditors, debtors, revenue reporting, and petty cash

Stakeholder Engagement

• Handle internal and external finance queries efficiently
• Liaise with suppliers to manage statements, payments, and queries

Team & Culture

• Build strong working relationships across teams and suppliers
• Contribute positively to a collaborative, values-driven environment
• Support sustainability and responsible business practices

What You Bring to the Table

• Matric (non-negotiable)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance/accounting role
  (creditors, cashbook, or petty cash experience is essential)
• Solid working knowledge of Pastel Accounting, Micros, and Excel
• Strong numerical ability and a sharp eye for detail
• Ability to manage deadlines without dropping the ball
• Clear, professional communication skills
