About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to support our human resources operations with a strong focus on employee engagement and administrative processes. In this role, you will facilitate the seamless execution of HR functions, contributing to a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage employee onboarding processes, including orientation and training coordination.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in HR databases.
• Assist in payroll preparation by collating employee time and attendance data.
• Support the recruitment process, from posting job advertisements to scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks.
• Achieve and maintain compliance with labour legislation and company policies, providing guidance to employees when needed.
• Coordinate employee performance review processes, helping to track goals and feedback.
• Assisting with disciplinary hearings and grievance procedures
• Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and training programs.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues related to HR policies and procedures.
• Maintaining Personnel Files in accordance with company standards.
  

• A relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• Proven track record in HR administration or a similar role, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Demonstrable experience in managing confidential information and sensitive employee matters.

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• A relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage.
• Must have at least 2 (two) years of experience in an administrative position.
• Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook).
• Must have good communication skills in English.
• Driver's licence and own reliable motor vehicle essential.
• Must be willing to work additional hours (outside of normal office hours).
• Good organisational skills.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, taking minutes and other office procedures and terminology.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, pressurized environment.

• Experience with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems.
• Familiarity with performance management systems and employee development practices.
• Knowledge of South African Labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA etc.) will be an advantage
• Previous experience in a corporate environment or within a specific industry sector is a plus.
