SUMMARY:
An opportunity for an experienced FORKLIFT SALES SPECIALIST is required for permanent employment based in Gauteng North.

Special Instructions:

• Previous experience selling Forklift (and/or similar type lifting equipment) repairs, maintenance contracts, workshop services, parts or capital equipment advantageous.
• Existing industrial customer network highly advantageous.

An opportunity for an experienced FORKLIFT SALES SPECIALIST is required for permanent employment based in Gauteng North.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop new and existing business opportunities within industrial and commercial markets
• Promote workshop repairs, maintenance solutions and aftermarket support services
• Manage key customer relationships and identify growth opportunities
• Follow up quotations and convert opportunities into sales
• Liaise with service departments and technical personnel regarding customer requirements
• Conduct site visits and customer presentations
• Prepare weekly reports and maintain CRM records
• Monitor customer equipment performance and replacement opportunities
• Promote customer retention and long-term service agreements
• Assist with debtors and customer account queries where required  

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Sales or Technical qualification advantageous
• 3-5 years external Forklift sales experience within industrial, material handling, workshop, automotive or capital equipment industries (and/or similar type lifting equipment)
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• CRM system experience advantageous
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Drivers licence essential
• Local residency or relocation required
