SUMMARY:
Our client is a well-established food manufacturing business supplying wholesalers, retailers, and commercial clients. They require a hands-on Finance Administrator to support day-to-day financial and administrative functions across the business.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and manage creditor payments
Capture and reconcile daily transactions, including cashbooks and journals
Assist with debtor invoicing, allocations, and follow-ups on outstanding balances
Support stock-related administration, including capturing of stock movements and assisting with reconciliations
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
Assist with month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting support
Liaise with internal teams (production, stores, and management) to ensure accurate cost and stock information
Provide general administrative and finance support as required

Requirements:

Matric (essential)
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance advantageous but not essential
2–5 years’ experience in a finance/admin role (manufacturing or stock-driven environment highly beneficial)
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Experience working with stock, costing, or inventory systems advantageous
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
