SUMMARY:
Urgently Hiring: Finance Administrator – Cape Town

Our client is a well-established philanthropic organisation that provides targeted support for organisations working towards human dignity, equitable opportunity, and the public good. They are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join their team as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance administration and be comfortable working independently while supporting a busy finance environment.

Minimum Requirements:

National Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Based in Cape Town
Previous finance administration or invoice processing experience (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Key Responsibilities:

Capture and process all company invoices
Allocate expense claims and credit cards to general ledger accounts
Assist with general finance administration duties
Assist with finance-related queries
Support the team with financial reporting and other ad hoc finance tasks

Core Competencies:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong administration and organisational skills
Good understanding of bookkeeping, accounting, and financial principles
Analytical and logical thinking ability
Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
Professional communication and customer service skills
Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
Able to work collaboratively within a team environment

This role requires someone who is organised, professional, and comfortable working in a finance environment where accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail are essential.

This opportunity is suited to someone with the ability to work independently in a busy finance environment. Candidates must be based in Cape Town and be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Previous finance administration or invoice processing experience will be advantageous.
