SUMMARY:
National healthcare concern has an opportunity for a Finance & Admin Manager.  The candidate will form part of the team responsible for the overall financial management of the division's finances.  Min. B. Com (Finance related) and SAP experience essential. Previous experience in Healthcare highly advantageous.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In summary the responsibilities would be as follows:
Responsible for the overall financial management of the division's finances
This will include all processing required to keep the accounting records up to date, administration and management of all balance sheet accounts including but not limited to debtors, creditors, cash and cash equivalents, loan accounts and statutory balances, as well as administration relating to tax matters.
Actively involved in preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in line with group requirements, and will be responsible for the preparation and review of management packs for the entity
Responsible for the management of the day-to-day administrative processes to ensure that a smooth and efficient administrative system is maintained 
Work together with the Group, Divisional and Regional Financial Managers to ensure that all financial aspects of the Division are monitored and reported on.

Other responsibilities would include:
Revenue recognition and reconciliation
Involved in the procurement process
Budgets and forecasts
Variance analysis
Staff supervision
Financial Planning - co-ordinate budget and forecast process
Financial Processing - maintenance of asset registers, bank recon process, petty cash, reconciliation of intercompany transactions
Financial Reporting - Balance Sheet analysis and reporting, month debtors reports, review of AFS
Financial Management
Audit activities
Control and governance

Requirements:
B.Com Financial Accounting degree or equivalent
Honours advantageous
Completed articles preferable
SAP Essential
Strong MS Excel Skills
