We're recruiting on behalf of a Germiston-based client looking for a hands-on and experienced Estimator to join a dynamic engineering environment focused on delivering modular processing solutions. POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Description:
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for developing accurate and defensible cost models for modular engineering solutions, ensuring pricing consistency across structural, electrical, and instrumentation scopes. You will build detailed cost models covering FEED deliverables, EPS conversions, and configurable modules while estimating labour, materials, fabrication, logistics, installation, commissioning, and lifecycle costs.

The role requires close collaboration with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and proposal teams to gather technical inputs, validate quantities and BOQs, and ensure alignment with pricing structures and commercial strategies. You will support bid and proposals development, assess commercial risks, verify historical cost data, and maintain cost databases to ensure accuracy and competitiveness across projects.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven experience as an Estimator within engineering, EPC/EPCM, or modular project environments
- Strong understanding of cost modelling across mechanical, structural, electrical, and instrumentation scopes
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and engineering deliverables
- Experience with FEED estimates, lifecycle costing, and commercial risk analysis
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and pricing accuracy
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and commercial teams
