Help increase the visibility, reach and impact of a leading global electronic trading industry body across digital channels.

Remote – South Africa | Fully Remote | 09:00–18:00 SAST, Monday to Friday, with a lot of flexibility due to the remote working arrangement | R25,000 – R30,000 per month

The organisation develops industry standards, hosts major international conferences and educational programmes, and facilitates collaboration on important market structure initiatives globally.

THE ROLE: DIGITAL MARKETING ASSOCIATE

The Digital Marketing Associate will help increase the visibility, reach and impact of the organisation’s work across digital channels.

The role provides hands-on experience across B2B marketing, digital advertising, content strategy, SEO, AI-driven search optimisation, event marketing and website management within the financial technology sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Advertising

• Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, email and other relevant channels.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimisation.
• Assist with audience targeting, A/B testing and conversion tracking.
• Support the promotion of conferences, webinars, training programmes and industry initiatives.
• Research and make recommendations on channel selection and usage, including paid usage.

Website & Content Management

• Create, publish and maintain website content using WordPress.
• Optimise pages for user engagement and conversion.
• Support content updates across news, insights, events and educational resources.
• Help maintain content quality and consistency across digital channels.

SEO & AI Search Visibility

• Conduct keyword and topic research.
• Identify opportunities to improve organic search performance.
• Support the implementation of SEO best practices across website content.
• Help develop strategies to improve visibility within AI-powered search tools and answer engines (GEO).

Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor website performance using analytics tools.
• Track campaign effectiveness and marketing KPIs.
• Produce reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Support data-driven decision-making across marketing activities.

Events & Community Marketing

• Assist with marketing campaigns for global industry conferences.
• Promote and help create webinars, podcasts, including video production and editing, and training programmes.
• Create content supporting industry working groups and thought leadership initiatives.
• Support member engagement and communications activities.

ABOUT YOU

• Excellent written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience of and interest in digital marketing, advertising and content creation.
• Analytical mindset and willingness to work with data.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Comfortable using AI tools to support research and content development.
• Experience managing social media channels.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
• WordPress experience.
• SEO knowledge.
• Google Analytics experience.
