SUMMARY:
IT Desk Support Technician

POSITION INFO:

Job Description

End-user desktop support.
Resolve user issues and provide technical support.
Email and Microsoft 365 support.
Printer and label printer support.
Desktop and laptop setup, configuration and optimisation.
Machinery operating system backups and upgrades.
Mobile phone support and setup.
IT asset tracking and maintenance.
Ticket system maintenance and management.
Assist with server backups and monitoring.
Security and antivirus maintenance.
CCTV support, maintenance and installations.
Active Directory knowledge would be advantageous.
Basic network cabling.
Network troubleshooting.
UniFi networking.
Firewall and networking support.

Qualifications & Experience

Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or similar certification.
2–5 years'' experience in desktop support or IT infrastructure roles.
Experience with Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems.
Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
Active Directory / Entra ID.
Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
VPN and remote desktop tools.
An IT qualification will be advantageous.
