A leader in the travel industry, is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and driven individual to join our dynamic finance team in Cape Town. As a Debtors Controller, you will be responsible for managing the company’s debtor book, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding amounts, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the overall financial health of the company.

As a Debtors Controller, your responsibilities will include:

Manage and monitor the debtor’s ledger to ensure timely payments and reduce overdue accounts
Liaise with clients to resolve outstanding balances and issues effectively
Maintain accurate records of accounts and manage reconciliations
Prepare monthly age analysis and assist with reporting for management
Identify potential risk accounts and work with the credit control team to mitigate them
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in line with financial regulations
Assist in maintaining good relationships with clients, ensuring professionalism at all times

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Credit Management Certificate completion
3-5 years of relevant experience
Exceptional attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
