SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
An opportunity is available for a finance professional to join a fast-paced business where you’ll provide essential debtors, bookkeeping and administrative support while working closely with customers, branches and the wider finance team.

This role offers hands-on exposure across the full debtors function, from account reconciliations and billing queries to credit applications, collections and audit support.

Candidate Profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping, Credit Management, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Debtors Clerk.
• Strong experience in debtors reconciliations, billing, collections and customer account administration.
• Confident handling customer queries, overdue accounts and credit-related processes.
• SAP experience will be advantageous, with strong attention to detail and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile debtors accounts, including daily bank GL clearing and supporting reconciliations.
• Manage billing activities, including credit notes, sales order releases, monthly statements and customer queries.
• Follow up on overdue and COD accounts, communicate account status and escalate potential billing or accounting issues.
• Create and maintain customer master data, facilitate new customer onboarding and credit approvals, and manage account status updates.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets and supporting schedules while maintaining accurate records and assisting with internal and external audits.
