SUMMARY:
A well-established and dynamic clothing supplier based in Verulam is seeking an experienced Debtors Clerk to join their finance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full debtor’s function and ensuring accurate and timely collections.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Debtors Clerk
Strong working experience on Pastel (Sage Pastel) – non-negotiable
Solid understanding of debtors, reconciliations, and credit control processes
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Good communication and negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities:

Full debtors function
Capturing and allocating payments on Pastel
Debtors’ reconciliations
Following up on outstanding accounts and collections
Sending statements and invoices to customers
Resolving account queries efficiently
Maintaining accurate customer records
Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
