SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Creditors Clerk to join the finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full creditors function, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliations, and timely supplier payments in line with company and regulatory standards.

Location: Linbro Park, Sandton
Salary: R15 000 – R20 000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Creditors Clerk to join the finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full creditors function, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliations, and timely supplier payments in line with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and reconcile non-stock supplier invoices.
• Approve and reconcile stock supplier invoices and statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier payments.
• Allocate credit notes to corresponding invoices.
• Submit proof of payments and remittance advices to suppliers.
• Assist the bookkeeper with creditor reconciliations and queries.
• Validate all invoices for SARS VAT compliance.
• Prepare and submit creditor reports within set deadlines.
• Maintain an organised and accurate filing system for creditor documentation.
• Process sales invoices and assist with general accounting tasks.
• Provide administrative support to the finance department as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Proficiency in Xero (or similar accounting software).
• Sound understanding of accounting principles and creditor processes.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Remuneration
