POSITION INFO:
Our client is a leading gold producer with a strong international footprint and a long-standing reputation for operational excellence, innovation, and sustainable mining practices. As a key player in the mining industry, the organisation is committed to creating value through efficient operations, responsible resource management, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse and monitor production and operational costs across mining operations.
Prepare detailed cost reports, variance analyses, and profitability assessments.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Monitor and report on cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.
Conduct inventory and stock analyses where applicable.
Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

BCom Accounting
BCom Honours in Accounting

Experience:

3-4 years' experience in a Cost Accountant or Management Accountant role.
Previous experience within mining, heavy industry, engineering, or manufacturing environments is highly advantageous.
Proven experience in costing, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
