SUMMARY:
Our client in the Building trade selling Granite, Quartz to wholesaler and retail sector is looking for a Co-ordinator Production Supervisor.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An opportunity has arisen in a successful growing business in Verulam KZN, for an experienced Co-Ordinator/ Production Supervisor to oversee the operations team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conduct morning meeting – give feedback on previous day challenges
Monitor that daily vehicle checks are being done
Follow weekly maintenance checks
Check that customers’ orders are correct
All installations planned of the day must be preloaded
Ensure that customer orders are sent to the production team timeously
Ensure the cutters understand what is required of them for every order.
Check that the customers’ orders are cut correctly.
Check that the production sheet is filled out before and after each order.
Ensure that all in-house job cards are sent to the workshop
Monitor staff and ensure they are behaving professionally
Daily issuing of tools as per job requirements and conduct weekly tool audits

Minimum Requirements:

Matric
3 years’ experience in a similar role (Co-Ordinator/ Factory/ Production supervisor).
A code 8 driving license (At least four years)

Required Competencies:

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Supervisory skills.
Effective planning skills.
Ability to delegate and follow up on tasks

Working hours: Mon- Fri 07:30 to 16:30, Sat 07:30 to 12:30
