SUMMARY:
LRA Case Management

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Attend to own professional correspondence and all related documents
  • Generate and remit Reports on time and maintain all files
    • Allocate cases on CMS and manage all case file actions from start to end of process including review applications where necessary in accordance with all operating processes
    • Apply the rules in the management of all files and processes
    • Capture and schedule cases and notify parties of the set down date and file proof of service.
    • Liaise with the CCMA and Labour Court/DOL where necessary
    • Manage referrals from the referred stage to the closed status on CMS and run reports
    • Maintain and attend to the Inbox timeously
    • Allocate cases to Panelists timeously
    • Prepare and compile all accounts for payment timeously
    • Handle complaints and queries professionally
    • Assist with Switchboard operation when necessary
    • Maintain a CMO diary and ensure all record books are properly populated and up to date

 

Qualifications

 

  • A matric certificate and/ or equivalent academic qualification
  • Minimum 3 years administrative experience
  • Computer Literacy essential
    • Prior experience or knowledge of the LRA and/or related legislation will be an added advantage
    • Prior experience on the Case Management System will be an added advantage

 

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Requirements

 

  • Above average verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to withstand pressure and provide above average services
  • Must at all times be diplomatic, professional and assertive
  • Must have good organization skills
  • Must be a good team player and achieve all objectives as set out by the Managing Commissioner
  • Must be meticulous in carrying out all tasks/instructions
  • Knowledge of a Case Management System is an added advantage
