SUMMARY:

CNC Programmer - Germiston - permanent (3-month probation)

POSITION INFO:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines
Produce precision components according to engineering drawings
Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards

Key Responsibilities:

Operate various CNC machines
Interpret engineering drawings accurately
Select machining strategies and tooling
Perform machine setup and monitoring
Conduct in-process inspections
Use precision measuring instruments
Maintain machine cleanliness
Adhere to health, safety, and quality standards
Report any faults or deviations

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent
Proven experience as a CNC Operator
Ability to read engineering drawings
Competent in precision measuring tools
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Advantageous Skills & Experience:

Experience with multi-axis CNC machines
Exposure to various materials
Knowledge of tooling selection
Previous high-precision engineering experience

Team-oriented and proactive
