POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements
Minimum
5–10 years’ experience as a CNC Milling and Turning Programmer/Operator.
Strong experience with
CNC Milling and CNC Turning machines.
Proficiency in CAM software
Experience with controls such as
Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, HeidenhainExcellent understanding of
G-code and machining processes.
Ability to read and understand detailed mechanical drawings.
Strong knowledge of tooling, materials, and cutting techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Program CNC Milling and Turning machines using CAM software and machine controls.
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes.
- Read and interpret mechanical and engineering drawings accurately.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
- Conduct first-off inspections and in-process quality checks using measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cycle times.
- Maintain machines, tools, and a clean, safe working environment.
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet deadlines.
