Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven buyer who will is a digitally orientated, an agile thinker and is passionate, energetic and optimistic. Are you curious with a love for learning and a willingness to try something new? We need a team player who will collaborate with the planning team to deliver on products that are in line with category strategies and which are compliant and cost-effective.

Here’s what you can expect to be doing in the role:

Achieve financial targets
Drive appliance products creatively and innovatively in product range
Achieve technical application of product
Effectively utilise systems and processes
Display sound trader instinct
Display sound reasoning/influencing skills

Requirements

Tertiary qualification / degree in relevant field i.e. Buying
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders with confidence
Confidence in your analytical skills to make high-impact decisions regarding your category
Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Demonstrated experience working with production, trends and buying teams to achieve strategy vision
