SUMMARY:

A well-established organisation is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Process invoices and payments in a timely manner
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Prepare financial reports and budgets
Assist with payroll and tax preparation
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or Sage)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
