SUMMARY:
We’re partnering with a leading Commercial & Industrial Solar EPC firm experiencing rapid growth across large-scale solar and battery storage projects. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a skilled BESS Electrical Engineer to play a key role in the design, integration, and delivery of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across multiple high-impact projects.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Lead the electrical design and integration of BESS within commercial solar PV projects
Develop and review single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and control systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, civil engineers, and OEMs
Support grid interconnection processes and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
Conduct technical due diligence, system sizing, and performance optimization
Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
Interface with clients, utilities, and regulatory bodies as required

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
3–7+ years of experience in renewable energy, with a strong focus on BESS or power systems
Solid understanding of grid-tied systems, inverters, transformers, and protection systems
Experience with design tools and simulation software (e.g., ETAP, DIgSILENT, PSCAD, or similar)
Familiarity with local grid codes and interconnection standards
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
