Key Responsibilities:

• Support the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution.
• Assist with payroll calculations, reconciliations, and monthly payroll reporting.
• Maintain payroll accuracy through validating payroll input and resolving discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
• Assist with payroll audits and maintain strong governance standards.
• Investigate and resolve payroll-related queries from employees and internal stakeholders.
• Support payroll reporting, employee benefits administration, and payroll-related submissions.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of employee information.
• Contribute to payroll process improvements, efficiencies, and system optimisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and operational stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll delivery

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field
• Professional payroll certification advantageous

• Minimum 5 years payroll experience in a payroll management or support environment
• Proven experience in high-volume payroll processing
• Strong payroll reconciliation and payroll administration experience
• Sound understanding of South African payroll legislation and compliance requirements
• Experience with VIP Premier, Sage 300, SAP, or similar payroll systems advantageous
• Previous exposure to employee benefits, payroll reporting, and payroll governance beneficial
