POSITION INFO:

Our established client in the heart of the V & A Waterfront is looking for an experienced Office Administrator to take on a maternity cover contract.  Should you have the required experience and be immediately available we’d like to hear from you – bookkeeping skills is an advantage.

Requirements:

·        Grade 12 / Matric / equivalent

·        2 - 5 years’ admin experience

·        Computer Literacy:  MS Office + Pastel

·        Knowledge of imports / exports (advantage)

·        Knowledge of foreign exchange (advantage)

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Afrikaans

·        Able to communicate with persons at all levels (staff and Directors)

·        Organisational and problem-solving skills

·        Bookkeeping knowledge (advantage)

·        Multi-tasker

·        Able to handle pressure

·        Able to communicate in both English & Afrikaans (3rd language advantage)

Responsibilities:

·        Manage records

·        Handle correspondence

·        Prepare schedules

·        Co-ordinate office supplies

·        Ensure smooth running of the office

·        Assist with invoicing at month-end
